iSIP™ (formerly SIPPhone) is a mobile internet service that enables you make calls using your iPhone's WiFi connection. You download iSIP from the AppStore. Once configured for the OnSIP you will be able to dial extension to extension calls within your PBX as well as make calls to the PSTN all over your cell phone's WIFI/3G connection without incurring cell phone minute charges.
Setup iSIP for OnSIP
Step 1
Download iSIP from the Apple App Store.
Step 2
Within the iSIP interface choose "Accounts". Choose "Edit" from the top and then tap the "plus sign" next to "Add new SIP..."
Choose "Other Provider"
Step 3
Display Name - Outbound Caller ID Name Field
Domain - Your the Proxy/Domain field
User name - Your Username
Password - Your SIP password
Advanced Settings
Auth username - Your Auth Username
Proxy Server - sip.onsip.com
Registration Timeout - 600
Voicemail Number - blank
Enable NAT Detect = off
If you have the following username information:
You would enter the following information into iSIP:
Display Name - Hiro
Domain - example.onsip.com
User name - hiro
Password - VPG3hockrifv
Advanced Settings
Auth Username - example_hiro
Proxy Server - sip.onsip.com
Registration Timeout - 600
Voicemail Number - blank
Enable NAT Detect - off
Choose "SIP Account" from the <strong"Advanced Setting"" screen.
Choose "Save"
If you are successful, you'll see a your display name and SIP address show up in green under "SIP Accounts".
