Microsoft Response Point PBX SP1 Configuration Instructions:
Log into the Response Point PBX.
Under the Configure VoIP Service screen, enter the following options:
Address of record (AOR) or URI:MY_USERNAME@MY_DOMAIN.onsip.com
Requires Registration = checked
Registration Interval (sec): = 30
Proxy Server Address: sip.onsip.com
Default Domain:MY_DOMAIN.onsip.com
Authentication ID or User ID: MY_USERNAME
Password: MY_PASSWORD (be sure to cut/paste the password)
Confirm Password: yourvoippassword
Note: Make sure your username (SIP Address) and Auth Username are the same. If they are not, please edit your SIP address to make them identical in the OnSIP Admin interface.
Inbound Call Direct Dial
Enter your assigned number from OnSIP into the Response Point device. The number must be eleven digits, e.g. 12125551234. When OnSIP sends the ResponsePoint PBX a call, we send the phone number including the "1" at the beginning.
Note: Any DIDs (Phone Numbers) that you do not configure for direct-dial (direct inward dial or DID) or list on the direct-dial page (shown below) will automatically go to the receptionist or Automated Receptionist.
Setting Caller ID
On the third configuration page in ResponsePoint, there is a field for Caller ID. ResponsePoint will pass it to OnSIP as a display name. It must be a valid ten digit number phone number for US numbers.
Configure NAT Settings
Lastly, log into the OnSIP admin portal. Select the Configuration tab and check the SIP Configuration sub section and make sure that Symmetric RTP is set to yes. This will turn on symmetric RTP and should prevent any one-way audio issues.
