What Is It?
Your organization's Team page is a visual directory for website visitors to see if your team members are online and available. If a team member is available, visitors can make a voice or video call directly from their browser to any of your online organization members.
A Team page is automatically created upon signing up and is available at a URL consistent with your OnSIP domain. For example, if you have signed up with the domain of example.onsip.com, then your team page is hosted at https://example.onsip.com.
You can customize which members of your team appear on this page. For example, you may want your customer-facing staff to be easily available for call while omitting the rest of your staff.
Every member of your organization will automatically receive a Personal page. These pages can be accessed either by clicking the photo of a member on your Team page or by visiting a URL consistent with your SIP address. For example, email@example.com would have a Personal page at https://example.onsip.com/hiro.
Note: Team and personal pages will not show up in search engine results, so it is entirely up to you to share them with the world. It is also up to each user whether or not they wish to display their email address or social accounts on their Personal page.
Team Page Management
Management of the team page is done via the OnSIP App. All users can update their Personal profile and manage their availability. Organization administrators can also update the look and feel of the organization's team page.
Updating Your User Profile
Each user manages their profile independently via the OnSIP App. To do so, log into the OnSIP App. Click on your profile picture in the upper right corner, and then click on View My Profile.
Click the pencil icon under your picture to upload a new picture.
Click the pencil next to “What’s your title? to add or edit your title. Click on the checkmark to save your info.
Your personal page URL is displayed next to “Personal Page.” Clicking on the URL will automatically open the page in a new browser tab.
Your work email will be displayed next to “Email."
Clicking on the pencil icon next to your social media pages will allow you to add your LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter pages, if you wish to do so. Simply add the URLs in the associated fields, and then click on the checkmark to save your changes.
Clicking on the pencil icon next to “Write something about yourself” will allow you to add a short personal bio. When done, select the checkmark to save your changes.
If you wish to display your email address on your Personal Page, toggle the Show Email on Personal Page switch to ON (blue color). Leave it OFF (gray color) to keep your email address hidden.
If you wish to receive video calls via your Personal Page or via your company’s Team Page, toggle the Receive Video Calls on Team Page switch to ON (blue color). Leave it OFF (gray color) to disable video calling for yourself and only allow audio calls.
Manage User Presence
A user will only show as available (the green icon) if they are logged into the OnSIP App. However, they may also set themselves as unavailable by triggering Do Not Disturb within the OnSIP app. To do so, click on your Profile Picture in the upper right corner and click on the radio button next to Away.
Updating the Look & Feel of the Team Page
Organization admins can update the colors, logos, company name and which users are displayed on the team page via the Organization Profile.
First, log into the OnSIP app as your administrative user. Click on the Team Page tab in the app’s Header.
Click the pencil icon in the Information box to update your company greeting and bio. The Team Page URL cannot be changed. When done, click on the checkmark to save your changes.
Clicking the pencil on the Team Members box will produce a pop-up where you can select which users are displayed on the team page. Use the search field to narrow down the list or scroll and click on the users you wish to add. Clear the check mark for users you wish to remove. When you are done editing, click the X icon.
If a user is disabled in https://admin.onsip.com, they will be automatically excluded from the team page, even if they were previously enabled under the Organization Profile.
To customize the accent color of the Team Page, click on the pencil icon in the Accent Color box. A color picker tool or hexidecimal values may be used to update the color.
To update the company logo, click the pencil icon in the Logo box. You can upload a new logo by click and drag or clicking to be prompted for the file location. You may also delete the logo without replacing it by clicking on the Delete Current button.
