How to Install the Desktop App for Linux

First, navigate to the desktop app download page and click on the orange Download OnSIP for Linux button.

A window will pop up, asking if you'd like to Open or Save. Select "Open with Software Install".

An information screen will appear. Click "Install".

You will be prompted for your superuser credentials. Enter them to install the package.

When the package has finished installing, the button text will change from "Install" to "Remove". You may now exit the Software Installer.

Logging In for the First Time

To log into the desktop app, enter your SIP address and password into the corresponding fields and click on the blue Log In button.

If you have forgotten your password, click on the Forgot Password? link and enter your SIP address. Then, click on the Send Email button to receive an email with instructions for how to reset your password. Note that the email will be sent to the email address associated with the SIP address entered. If you don’t know your SIP address, click on the Forgot SIP Address? link and follow the steps to retrieve it.
