Technicolor / Thompson Routers Configuration

We have not found a Thomson router where the SIP ALG works correctly. The SIP ALG, therefore, must be disabled on all Thomson routers.

Thomson ST780
From the CLI :connection appconfig application=SIP SIP_ALG=disabled

February 2017

To disable SIP ALG on Technicolor/Thompson modem/router, Telnet into the device and type the following:

connection unbind application=SIP port=5060 (Then press “Enter”)

save all (Press “Enter”)

exit (Press “Enter”)

The default username is admin and there is no default password (i.e. - leave it blank)

NOTE: The information provided above is from another OnSIP customer offering these settings for other customers with a similar device. OnSIP does not sell nor monitor equipment and/or it’s firmware updates/etc. The settings of routers can change and are out of the control of OnSIP. For best results, reach out to the manufacturer directly.
