Step 1: Gather information for user.
Each user has a set of credentials which will be needed to configure each phone. For each phone that you are configuring, obtain the following:
- SIP Address (Address of Record)
- SIP Password
- Auth Username
- Username
- Proxy/Domain
You can find this information in the user detail pages under the Users tab in the Phone Configuration section.
Step 2: Log into your Algo 8188 Speaker through a web browser
Finding the IP address
After boot up the blue light will turn off and the speaker will have obtained an IP address. If there is no DHCP server the 8186 SIP Horn Speaker will default to the static IP address 192.168.1.111. Connect and hold the reset terminals (on the back of the unit) to hear the IP address over the speaker. The reset terminals will not cause a reset unless connected during power up. The IP address may also be discovered by downloading the Algo locator tool to find Algo devices on your network: www.algosolutions.com/locator

***NOTE from a customer who recently configured this device: When rebooting from the web interface of the 8180 it does not do the trick when changing certain settings. The device registers fine once the SIP settings were correct, but any attempt to page or ring failed with a busy signal until the unit was powered off and on again.
