The WWW interface for phones that have been provisioned to the OnSIP Boot server is off by default as a security measure. You can enable it via the OnSIP Admin portal. We recommend that you re-disable it and reboot the phones once your configurations are complete.
To Unlock the Web Interface:
- Resources tab
- Locate MAC of the phone and click to expand boxes
- Phone Details box > modify
- Put a check next to Web Interface
- Save
- Take note of Phone Password - you will not be able to see it until you press "SAVE" in the step above.
- Restart the phone to pick up the change
- Using phone's private IP and the phone password you just collected, you can now access the web interface
To Lock Web Interface (Reverse Actions):
- Save all your changes made in Web Interface
- Resources tab
- Locate MAC of the phone and click to expand boxes
- Phone Details box > modify
- Uncheck Web Interface box
- Save
- Restart the phone to pick up the change
NOTE: accessing a Polycom web interface you'll need to enter as https://192.x.x.x and phone password
