Porting from GoTo

If you are interested in porting your GoTo phone number(s) to OnSIP, please supply OnSIP with screenshots from your GoTo web portal showing the phone numbers to be ported, the name and the address on the account.

GoTo typically requires a port-out PIN to be supplied in the port request. The four to eight-digit PIN prevents your phone numbers from being transferred without your authorization. Please see the instructions below from the GoTo website for obtaining the PIN.
 
To obtain the GoTo PIN, you will need to have the super admin role. There are multiple ways to set a phone number port-out pass code.
 
Option # 1

  • GoTo Admin portal
  • Sign in to GoTo Admin.
  • Navigate to Settings > Capabilities > Phones > Phone system security.
  • Under Port-out passcode, set the desired passcode.

Option # 2

  • Send an email request to numbers@goto.com asking for the port-out PIN and other required information for porting out the number(s).
  • A GoTo representative will respond to your PIN request with the information required to port-out the number(s).

Note: We make every attempt to work with all telephone service providers. However, certain local or regional guidelines may preclude your current provider from releasing your number.
