If you have correctly configured a SIP SRV record for you domain, the OnSIP Account page may be used to migrate all of your SIP addresses to your own domain.
Note: Once you migrate your SIP domain, all of your phones must be reconfigured with your new addresses.
Updating your Domain:
- Navigate to the “Administrators” tab on app.onsip.com and go to “PBX Settings” and select “Migrate SIP Domain”.
- In the form that appears, select the radio button "Use your own private domain" and enter your domain into the text box:
- Click on the "Save" link.
- Read and accept the confirmation that appears:
If your SRV record has been properly configured for your domain, then all of your SIP addresses will be automatically rewritten as addresses in your domain. You will immediately be able to receive calls to addresses like address@yourdomain.com.
Reverting Back to an OnSIP Domain
If for some reason you ever need to revert your domain back to your original OnSIP domain, this may be accomplished through a similar set of steps:
- Navigate to the “Administrators” tab on app.onsip.com and go to “PBX Settings” and select “Migrate SIP Domain”.
- In the form that appears, select the radio button "Select an OnSIP subdomain" and choose your OnSIP subdomain from the drop down:
- Click on the "save" link.
- Read and accept the confirmation that appears:
