Remember, you must keep a positive PSTN (Prepaid) calling balance to make and receive calls to/from the PSTN (traditional 10-digit numbers). If your PSTN balance is $0.00 or -$0.01 your calls inbound and outbound will fail.
Manually Adding Prepaid Credit
You can manually add credit to your account as needed. (Note that this can be performed anytime even if you have the Auto-Refill feature enabled.) To use this feature, you must have a credit card on file with your account.
Step 1: Navigate to the Account & Payment under your avatar and go Calling credits.
Step 2: Click on Manually add calling credit.
Step 3: Choose the amount that you would like to add to your available credit balance by selecting it from the dropdown menu.
Step 4: Click on the Purchase button to charge the amount to your credit card.
Once the transaction is accepted, the selected amount will be added to your available credit balance, shown underneath the Calling credits heading. You will also receive a receipt via email of the transaction, sent to the email on file with the account.
You can view your transactions of PSTN credit purchases by clicking on the Purchase history and selecting PSTN transactions in the drop down. Transactions are separated based on the month that they occurred in.
Configuring Auto Refill
Step 1: Navigate to the Account & Payment under your avatar and go Calling credits.
Step 2: Click on the Enable auto-refill slide bar.
Step 3: Choose an amount under “If my balance dips below…..” and “….automatically refill to.”
Now, when your credit balance drops below $5.00, we will automatically charge your credit card whatever amount is necessary to bring your balance back to $50.00. Calls do not get charged to your account until they are completed. For instance, say you have $5.05 for available credit, and you make a call that costs $0.15. That amount will be deducted once you complete the call and hang up. Your credit balance will then be reduced to $4.90. Only then will Auto-Refill kick in and charge your credit card $45.10 (plus taxes) to bring your available credit balance back to $50.00.
Once this is performed, a receipt via email of the transaction will be sent to the email address you have listed on your account.
